Howard's Commentary - Live. Local. Experienced.

Sometimes it's OK to blow your own horn 🎺. Today is one of those days.

Live. Local. Experienced.

These are key words to describe The Watchdog Radio Network, of which I'm so proud to be a team member.

And we're about to make additions to serve this community even better as we welcome a new daily dose of "Tee Time". After several years of weekly visits and fill-in work, Teresa Toriseva now holds down the final leg of our broadcast day from 5-7pm.

A new daily host. An additional perspective.

And our entire broadcast team is recommitted to bringing you more news and information, more passionate commentary, and more community involvement in 2017.

While most radio stations--certainly here in the Valley and even in many of America's biggest markets--have a couple local hosts mixed with out of town "canned" programs, TWRN is 100% live and local every weekday.

Sammy The Bull and Biff start you at 6 with some fun facts, a few phone calls, and a bit of sports talk.

From 7-10, I give you the information to start your day, intriguing interviews and plenty of politics--framed by my frequent raging rants 🙄. We hit the big state and national issues, local topics, and some off-the-beaten-path side trips. We've spent decades waking up together and I'm not done yet!

At 10am, my friend Hoppy Kercheval goes in depth on the biggest issues in West Virginia on AM1370 while John Blackmore moves into 10-12 on AM1600.

After local news at noon from WTRF-TV, Bill Fifabio's Variety Show focuses on sports and entertainment.

And now from 2-5pm, Steve Novotney Live brings you community news and personalities, Ohio Valley musicians, the political roundtable, and his own musings on the day's top news.

Then Tee-Time winds us down with Teresa Toriseva's passion on political and social issues. A nationally recognized attorney with caring core values that resonate through all her discussions.

Add the Valley's biggest commitment to local sports programs--play by play and commentary--and you have a radio station unrivaled virtually anywhere in America.

We're not the new kids on the block. Our team members are experienced. Each in our own right, but collectively bringing you more than a CENTURY of knowledge and experience.

On air, online, on your smartphone or tablet, we serve the Ohio Valley like no other station.

Thanks for listening. The ride is just getting good.
